Ancient Indian Aeronautics

To this day I was unaware of the ancient Indian knowledge of airplanes , aircrafts or whatever this article discuss. Through the years of my upbringing I have heard these stories from Ramayana and Mahabharatha numerous time, but never for a single time i tried to interpret the stories the way the article describes. Simply mind-boggling , What else can I say!!!!.

It was an Indian who flew the airplane for the first time, that too 8 years before Wright brothers achieved it!!!.

May be it is a fantasy ,still I prefer to believe, there existed an era in ancient India when people used air transportation , they were aware of atom bombs , they even planned interstellar hitchhikes .

There existed an ancient civilization in India who were far advanced and modern than us.
